1 (18.25 oz) package spice cake mix or carrot cake mix ▢1 1/2 cups apple pie filling ▢1 teaspoon cinnamon ▢½ teaspoon ground nutmeg ▢½ teaspoon allspice ▢1 tablespoon sugar ▢¾ cup butter sliced into 24 sections ▢1 cup chopped pecans
Grate the oven to 350 degrees.
Prepare 1 1/2 to 2 cups of apple pie filling in a greased 9 by 13-inch pan; set aside.
Combine sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice, then distribute over the filling for the apple pie in the pan.
Spread cake mix over the apple pie filling and seasonings in an even manner. Evenly distribute the butter over the cake ingredients. Add pecans that have been minced as a garnish.
Bake the cake for forty to forty-five minutes, or until golden and airy. Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipping cream on top, or at room temperature.
