▢2 cups shredded, cooked chicken ▢1 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese ▢1 (4-ounce) can green chiles ▢salt and pepper to taste ▢vegetable oil ▢8 (6-inch) corn tortillas
Mix together the chicken, cheese, green chilies, salt, and pepper in a medium basin.
Add approximately 1/2 inch of oil to a large saucepan. Place over medium heat and bring to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Place half of the chicken mixture in the center of a maize tortilla, fold in a taco-like fashion, and grasp with tongs. After agitating the taco in the oil in a rudimentary motion until it becomes submerged without ruptures, position it in the oil on its side.
Cook for two to three minutes per side. Once both sides have been cooked, remove from the oil and place on a plate lined with paper towels to drain. Proceed with the remaining filling and tortillas.
Placing the preferred toppings on the tacos prior to serving.
