1 box Chocolate cake mix plus ingredients on box ▢6 tbsp butter softened ▢2 2/3 cups powdered sugar ▢1/2 cup baking cocoa ▢1/2 cup heavy whipping cream plus extra if needed ▢2 tsp vanilla extract ▢2 sleeves Oreos ▢3 cinnamon candies
Prepare the cake according to the package's instructions using two 8" or 9" circle pans. Allow to settle.
Set aside crushed Oreos in a Ziploc bag. Combine butter, cocoa, powdered sugar, whipping cream, and vanilla to make icing.
Once thoroughly combined, incorporate additional powdered sugar for desired viscosity or whisking cream for desired viscosity reduction.
For added texture, frost the cake and sprinkle crumbled Oreos on top (chocolate jimmies may also be utilized).
Accentuate the front with cinnamon candies for the eyes. Just prior to serving, garnish the cake with card stock legs and savor.
