Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped onion, breadcrumbs, milk, 1/4 cup ketchup, beaten eggs, minced garlic.
Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together until well combined.
Transfer the meat mixture to a lightly greased loaf pan, shaping it into a loaf shape.
Spread the remaining 1/4 cup of ketchup evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
Place the loaf pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 1 hour, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and the top is nicely browned.
Once cooked, remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Serve slices of meatloaf with your favorite side dishes, such as mashed potatoes and green beans.
