▢2 cups + 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour plus more as needed ▢1 teaspoon baking powder ▢1 teaspoon salt ▢½ cup unsalted butter melted ▢¾ cup lukewarm water
Combine 2 cups of flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium basin. Mix warm water and melted butter together with your palms until combined. Additional flour may be added one tablespoon at a time. Rest the mixture for ten minutes.
An enormous griddle is heated over medium heat. As the skillet preheats, portion the dough into twelve disks.
Apply pastry flour to a lightly floured surface and roll each ball into an approximately 8-inch wide circle.
Cook each tortilla in the heated skillet for approximately one minute, or until it becomes lightly browned and bubbled on both sides.
NOTE: Between stages, wipe the pan clean of flour; otherwise, it will accumulate and begin to burn.
