FRESH CRANBERRY SAUCE RECIPE

1 pound fresh cranberries washed & dried ▢1 cup sugar ▢⅓ cup brown sugar ▢⅓ cup water ▢1 cinnamon sticks ▢½ teaspoon ground allspice ▢¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg ▢1 orange zested & juices

Ingredients

Step - 1

In a medium saucepan, combine the cranberries, sugars, and water over medium heat. 

Increase to a simmer. 

Step - 2

While the heat is reduced to a simmer, combine the cinnamon stick, nutmeg, and allspice. 

Step - 3

Simmer the cranberries for five to seven minutes, or until some of them rupture while others remain whole. 

Step - 4

Incorporate the orange rind and juice. Chill prior to consuming.
