Cream the cream cheese, butter, egg, and vanilla in a large basin using a hand mixer until light and airy.
After incorporating the cake mix, refrigerate for thirty minutes.
Bring the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Incorporate sugar granules into a bowl. Scoop and roll dough into spheres measuring 1 1/2 inches in diameter; coat with powdered sugar. Place on a cookie sheet that has been gently greased.
Bake for twelve to ten minutes. After a few minutes of resting on the cookie sheet, transfer the cookies to a cooling tray.
Further dust with powdered sugar, if desirable.
