Meatballs without Breadcrumbs and Eggs

Gather all the ingredients and measure them out. Finely chop the onion, mince the garlic, and grate the Parmesan cheese if it's not already grated.

In a mixing bowl, add the ground meat, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped onion, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper.

Use your hands or a spoon to thoroughly mix all the ingredients until well combined. Make sure the seasonings and cheese are evenly distributed throughout the meat mixture.

Take a portion of the meat mixture and roll it between your palms to form a meatball. The size of the meatball is up to your preference, but aim for consistency so they cook evenly.

Heat a skillet or frying pan over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil to coat the bottom of the pan.

Once the pan is hot, place the meatballs in the skillet, leaving some space between them to ensure even cooking. Cook the meatballs for about 8-10 minutes, turning them occasionally to brown on all sides.

Once the meatballs are cooked, remove them from the pan and let them rest for a few minutes before serving. You can serve them with your favorite sauce, pasta, or as a standalone dish.
