2 cups flour, all-purpose 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/2 cup cubed chilled unsalted butter
Preheating the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease and set aside a 9-by-13-inch casserole dish.
Combine flour, sugar, and salt in a large bowl to create the shortbread crust. With lukewarm butter, cut in to form coarse crumbs. Twenty minutes after pressing into the bottom of the prepared dish, bake.
In the interim, whisk together sugar, eggs, corn syrup, melted butter, and vanilla to make the filling. Incorporate pistachios. As soon as the heated crust emerges from the oven, spread it over it.
Again, bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the filling has firmed.
Allow to fully cool in the pan prior to slicing into squares and serving.
