2 packages of plain microwave popcorn (3.2 ounces) 2.5 cups sugar, granulated 1 cup of miniature marshmallows 1/2 cup maize syrup, light Four tablespoons unsalted butter or margarine, plus additional butter for the palms Water, 2 teaspoonful, chilled a few splashes of desired food coloring
Empty a large basin with the popped popcorn.
Combine the following ingredients in a medium container over medium-high heat: food coloring, margarine, water, marshmallow powder, and corn syrup. Stir while heating the mixture until it reaches a simmer.
Stir while pouring over the popcorn so as to coat each particle.
Apply butter to your fingertips to facilitate handling and shape the popcorn into balls measuring 3–4 inches in diameter prior to allowing it to cool.
Place in a plastic bag and refrigerate at ambient temperature.
